Supporting cycling and walking in your city

Subject: Supporting cycling and walking in your city
Good morning,
I am a researcher based at the University of Otago and one of my areas
of interest is how to work with local councils to improve conditions for
cycling and walking.
As part of this I am encouraging individuals and agencies to make
submissions to upcoming city Annual Plans and LTCCP's. To help I have
put together some information (see attached) about the process of making
a submission and some of the research evidence that supports the links
between active transport, physical activity and health.
I hope this sounds like something that fits within your work as a Sports
Trust and would really appreciate it if you could forward this around
your networks.
Any feedback about the document would also be most welcome.
Regards,
Rose Richards
