Gisborne is a great place to ride a bike: It's warm (most of the time), the traffic volumes are light, there is enough flat around town to make commuting easy, and if you want to train on the hills, we have those as well ... close to town.

We are blessed with a range of cycling clubs: the local Gisborne Road Cycling Club is prominent during the Spring, Summer and Autumn seasons, we have one of the top BMX Clubs in the country and we have a newly established MTB club with its own tracks up at Milmore.
